IRC Racing Class: ‘Hurricane Hunter’ – 2nd Place
Albert Altura’s ‘Hurricane Hunter’, a Beneteau First 40, secured an impressive 2nd place in the IRC Racing Class, reaffirming the First 40’s reputation as a powerful and dynamic racing yacht. With its blend of speed and comfort, this model continues to be a top choice for competitive sailors and long-distance cruisers alike.
Cruising Class: ‘Despacito’ – 2nd Place
Pablum Lobregat’s ‘Despacito’, a Beneteau Oceanis 51.1, took 2nd place in the Cruising Class. Known for its stability, ease of handling, and luxurious comfort, the Oceanis 51.1 is a prime example of Beneteau’s commitment to creating yachts that excel in both relaxed cruising and spirited racing conditions.
IRC Racing Class: ‘Selma Star’ – 3rd Place
Jun Avecilla’s ‘Selma Star’, a Beneteau First 36.7, placed 3rd in the IRC Racing Class, following a victorious campaign in the previous edition of the regatta. The First 36.7 continues to impress with its quick acceleration, precision handling, and versatile design—traits that have made it a dominant force in international regattas.
