CNB 76 Yacht by CNB Philippines
Launched in 2014, the majestic CNB 76 is a direct predecessor of the “One-offs” previously created by CNB or Construction Navale Bordeaux, a boatbuilder that is today part of the legendary French yachting conglomerate Groupe Bénéteau. As with these illustrious vessels of old, everything on the CNB 76 is treated as on a CNB One-off—the wide range of customization options, the luxurious amenities, the interiors bathed in natural light, the professionally equipped galley, and even the well-soundproofed engine room. This yacht is quite simply the quintessence of CNB’s more than three decades’ worth of naval experience.
When it was launched, the CNB 76 introduced the boatbuilder’s next-generation coachroof, revolutionizing the way CNB dealt with the relationships between the outdoors and the indoors and between space and aesthetics. Behind the yacht’s svelte and streamlined appearance, nary an onlooker would have guessed the immense volumes she offered inside. Indeed, there is more than two meters of standing headroom in the CNB 76’s saloon, and from here, passengers are afforded spectacular views of the outside through the yacht’s massive windows.
Needless to say—when it comes to the CNB 76—superb proportions, unobstructed views, harmonious layouts, and comfortable spaces are the name of the game. Make sure you don’t miss out on what this exemplary vessel has to offer. Get in touch with Europa Yachts Philippines to learn more about how you can take the CNB 76 home to moor.
The CNB 76 Exterior
With an exterior design and deck plan conceived by the celebrated naval architect Philippe Briand, the CNB 76 was created to be easy to handle right from get go. While being 23.17 meters (76 feet) in length, her intimidating size doesn’t stop her from also being seaworthy and maneuverable, so much so that she can be sailed short-handed or operated by a skeleton crew. One can definitely repose confidence in the fact that the CNB 76 is a fast but also an extremely safe vessel.
The CNB 76 was also designed to have a very efficient upper deck layout. Her guest cockpit is on the same level as the maneuvering area, but even if this is the case, this expansive cockpit is never obstructed by the boat’s controls. Instead, these panels have been intentionally positioned beside the helming station wheels, on the side decks near either edge of the boat.
This cockpit, to all intents and purposes, is the primary outdoor recreational area on the CNB 76. From a sunbathing area, it can transform to a saloon or an outdoor living space, or even a dining area complete with a modular table. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a bottle of champagne with your friends, or even a hearty family meal lovingly prepared in on board.
Finally, aft of the yacht, a swimming platform opens up to make the sea very accessible to the guests. It doubles as a tender garage door that also makes it easier for passengers to access
The CNB 76 Interior
The masterful proportions demonstrated on the CNB 76’s exterior continue indoors, where the layout is as harmonious as it is comfortable. Intending to reflect a kind of elegance ‘‘à la Française,’’ designers Jean-Marc Piaton and Rafael Bonet sought to create an interior that is not only modern and innovative but also light and graceful.
As can be expected from a vessel of this size, the saloon of the CNB 76 is expansive and impressive, taking advantage of all the natural light that it can get, and hosting such comfortable furnishings that one can be forgiven for thinking this a hotel suite on dry land instead of a sailing craft.
On the starboard side, the sofa can be easily converted to two facing armchairs, even as a hidden bar can be pulled out from a recess on the wall. On the port side, a large, u-shaped sofa surrounds the saloon table, which can also be adjusted to a different height or size depending on your needs.
The boat’s glistening modern galley, on the other hand, can be accessed through a small access door and a short flight of stairs. Equipped with all the appliances and storage options available in any contemporary kitchen, this galley ensure that you’ll want for absolutely nothing when you’re sailing in the open sea. This part of the boat is also comfortable whether the yacht is under sail or moored. Thus, you can expect to be able to perform all your kitchen activities with ease, no matter if you’re cruising or anchored.
The berthing amenities is another area in which the CNB 76 absolutely shines. The owners’ suite is equipped with a large bed, and en suite bathroom, a large bookcase, bedside shelves, a double wardrobe with two large drawers, and a number of other storage options. There are three other cabins which, while smaller, are no less well-appointed. Together, they make the CNB 76 a vessel that your family can call a second home.
